O200l salutes Pulitzer Prize-winning composer George Crumb on his 80th birthday with performances of excerpts from all six volumes of his monumental American Songbook series, all written for O2001. Works of current University of Pennsylvania Composition faculty, where Mr. Crumb taught for more than 30 years, will also be performed- including a premiere by Anna Weesner.
